Trip to Ushiku Daibutsu Ibaraki Pref

I planned for a day Trip to Ushiku Daibutsu in Ibaraki Prefecture. It took us around 2 hours by Car from Kanagawa. It is also called as Amida Buddha.

World`s Tallest Bronze Buddha statue, height of 120 Meters tall. It is in Guinness Book of Records.

The Statue is surrounded by gardens and Small pond

It is not a Historic place, it was built on 1993. Spring is the best season to visit here. They also Exhibited lot of Images which was taken when the Statue was built.

There is an observation deck on top of the Buddha statue this is operated by elevator, they have small exhibition in the observation deck.

They also have 3000 small Buddha statues.

Second Floor is called as World of Gratitude and Thankfulness. You can pray and write Sutra in this place with charge around 300 Yen

You can also spend time with Rabbits , Goat and Squirrels and some other small pets.

The other places you can visit here is Ami Outlet, which is 10 minutes drive from Ushiku Daibutsu
